Research: Feedback from Mary

In today's lesson I had an individual chat with my teacher Mary and she set me three targets that I need to reach in terms of blogposts and gave me critical feedback on how I can improve my blog. Mary feels that I have a solid set of blogposts and that I already have good use of different technology for my blogs but she also says that I am sticking strictly to the blogging guideline and that I need to get more creative with my blogs; such as doing more blogs that look more deeply into creative ideas such as makeup, costume and location and to make blogposts on anything that I have seen in the media that I could draw inspiration from and take ideas from for my own music video. The three targets that Mary has set me is to:

• Think about extra blogging outside of the blogging checklist (Ideas and inspiration from media and other artists)
• Finish of the three music video analyses that I have drawn inspiration from
• Although I already have a wide variety of different technology that I have being using for my blogposts I need to keep this to a constant by using even more technology such as Prezi, Wordle, GoAnimate, GIF's, Vlogs and technology like Photobucket

Another thing that Mary asked me is to try have more blogs that shows our group as a team and working together; although we have group blogs and have worked together we don't have things that visually show us working together such as pictures of us at the mac's or behind a camera filming together.  This talk with Mary was very helpful as it informed me what my quality of work is at the moment and where I am in terms of progress and my potential grade. It also helped me to understand what I need to do to make my blog of an even higher quality and what I need to get up to date on so I plan on taking all of the above things mentioned into account to make my blog even better.
