Planning: Budgeting

The budget for our music video will be fairly small as we will not require a lot of props; we plan to use the natural props of the locations we will be filming at rather than providing our own props. Our performer Aleksandra will provide the costume and makeup along with Emily who is going to be acting as the makeup artist and costume designer on the day so we will not have to spend a huge amount of money on mise en scene except for a couple of bright lipstick colours that we will need for the filming that we do not already have such as purple, orange and green.

However, we do intend to buy lots of colourful sweets as they will tie in with our motif of colour so we will most likely go to the 99p store and buy flying saucers, jelly beans and any other colourful sweets we can get our hands on; money wont be a problem as these sweets cost less than £1.

For our interior locations (e.g Emily's house) There we will need to have lots of paperplanes; this is very cheap and pretty much does not need a budget as we will be making all of the paperplanes ourselves; we might go to Tesco to buy the colourful sugar paper but the plain white paper and most of the coloured paper we intend to get from our college which has a bountiful amount of paper.
